Project Overview

This is a modern student accommodation platform designed for Botlogile Residence, a premier off-campus housing facility serving VUT and NWU students in Vereeniging. The project focused on creating an engaging, mobile-first experience that makes it easy for students to discover amenities, understand pricing, and secure their rooms with confidence. I conducted competitive analysis of student accommodation websites, user interviews with current students and parents, and journey mapping to understand decision-making factors that influence housing choices for university students.

My Approach

I follow a conversion-focused, student-centered design process that addresses the unique needs of university housing seekers. Every project starts with understanding both the student experience and parent concerns. I began by identifying Botlogile Residence's key differentiators—walking distance to campus, 24-hour security, uncapped Wi-Fi, and cost savings on transport. Through stakeholder discussions, persona development, and competitive research, I crafted a digital presence that builds trust, showcases lifestyle benefits, and streamlines the booking journey.
